Alex Seibel is Positive Ventures' partner, where he has an active role in the investment committee. Graduated in Business Administration, Alex is a philanthropist, entrepreneur and investor driven by important social and environmental causes, with extensive experience and recognition in the market. He was a member of the boards of Leo Madeiras and Duratex, companies where he is a shareholder. He also founded the NGO Arcah to rescue homeless people in São Paulo. He is also a board member at Sistema B in Brazil and partner at Positiva.a and Positiv.app.
Andrea Kestenbaum is Positive Ventures' co-founder and CEO. Andrea has extensive experience in entrepreneurship and management, having participated in companies in the services, retail, and international trade sectors as an investor and executive, including her role in making investments for her family. With a Master's Degree in Economics from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Specialization in Leadership from MIT and Schumacher College, Andrea has dedicated to management and governance issues, is an observer on Letrus Board of Directors, and a member of the deliberative council of the Corporate Citizenship Institute.
Bruna Constantino is Positive Ventures' co-founder and Chief Impact Officer. Before the transition to impact investing, she worked in the filmmaking industry as an executive producer and assistant director for 8 years. Then, became an entrepreneur in the international retail sector, acting as director of marketing and product. Today she is involved in the area of community engagement, and is also a permanent member of ICE. Graduated in Communication and Cinema, with an extension in Executive Film Production at FGV, specialization in Leadership at Schumacher College and Design Thinking at Echos School.
Fábio Kestenbaum is Positive Ventures’ Co-founder and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Prior to his transition towards venture capital and impact investing, he was part of the BMA Advogados M&A team, acting as buy-side legal counsel in towering deals, e.g., the mergers of Itaú with Unibanco, Sadia with Perdigão, and Bovespa with BM&F. Fabio is a board member at Eureciclo and Labi Exames, and serves as an ad hoc advisor for Google for Startups, Accelerator 100+ Ambev, Insper Business School, and United for a Living Amazon Philanthropic Fund. Besides his J.D. in Law, Fabio holds a PgD in Economic Development from Blavatnik School of Government.
Henrique is part of the investor relations and investments team. He is responsible for analyzing the companies in Positive Ventures' pipeline and managing relationships with current and potential investors. Over the last five years, he worked at Vinci Partners in the IR area. Previously, he also worked at Canary. Henrique holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV and studied Alternative Investments at LSE.
Lucas is part of the investment team, responsible for originating, analyzing, and monitoring the companies. Lucas worked in strategic consulting for 5 years at Bain & Company in Brazil. He also worked as a consultant at the NGO TechnoServe in Mozambique and at the United Nations World Food Programme in Italy. Lucas holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP), with an academic exchange at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Marina is part of the investment team, responsible for originating, analyzing, and monitoring the companies. In the last three years, she was part of the investment team at VELT Partners, where she was also part of the working group dedicated to the ESG theme. Previously, she had stints in Equity Research at Credit Suisse and a summer job at Dynamo UK. Marina has a degree in Business Administration from FGV and studied for one year at LSE in the General Course program.
Murilo Menezes is Positive Ventures’ CIO and focused on investing in purpose-driven businesses that are solving societal challenges. Prior to joining Positive Ventures, Murilo was the Chief of Staff and Impact Investing Officer at Brazil's largest impact-focused single-family office, Maraé, a multi-billion holding led by Mr. Guilherme Leal, co-founder of Natura&Co. From 2010 to 2015 he worked at institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Itaú BBA. Murilo is a board member at Slang, is part of WEF`s Expert Network, he holds a master’s degree from the Center for Public Leadership in Brazil, with extension at the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo.
Ricardo is Positive Ventures' partner. Economist graduated from FEA-USP, with extensive experience in the financial market. He is currently Senior Principal in the Canadian fund CPP Investments, as well as member of the board of directors of Smart Fit. Previously, he served as Director of Lone Star Funds, Vice President of TPG Capital and associate at J.P. Morgan Bank. He was also a member of the supervisory board of the railroad operator Rumo.
